What’s up with the weather over here in the northwest? Earlier this month, I thought for sure that Spring was already here. The weather was good and the temperature was good too. And then all of a sudden, it felt like winter again. It’s chilly and cold.

I tested my new IS lens not too long ago at the Pine Lake park at Sammamish. That park is always a bit dark. It’s a good place to try out the IS feature. With IS, I could take picture without any blur up to about 1/20 shutter speed. That’s pretty good. The IS seems to help quite a bit. I like it. I also try out some new post processing technique to add some more artistic feature.

Here are some of my favorite pictures. Enjoy!

mmmm.. very very yummy and tasty. hehe.. :-)

Again, my wife made very tempting food last night. It’s called honey crispy chicken serve with hot white rice and vegetables and hot chilly sauce. As you can see in the picture, it’s still hot with all of those smokes. Ah.. I am getting hungry again. :-P

This past weekend, our friend, Edwina and her family came to visit us. She brought with her this martabak manis (sweet martabak). It’s a very popular snack in Indonesia. It’s very yummy and as I look at these pictures, I can’t resist but to want more of it. :-D

Can you see the pictures without being tempted? Do you feel the watering in your mouth? :D

Look at those melting chocolate.. hmm… yummy.. :-P

We had a blast at Amogh’s 7th birthday party at 3-2-1 Bounce a few days ago. I just love to see the big-big smile on those little faces. They just enjoy it and seize all of those fun. Every time they came down from those big-tall slides, they put on their biggest smile and giggling. They can’t contain their joy. It’s so contagious. Smiling and laughing.. :D

Here are some of the pictures that I took. Enjoy!

Finally, after weeks of trying to find some time to go sledding at Hyak, Snoqualmie Pass, we went there a few days ago. It’s too overcrowded on the President’s day. Tuesday was perfect. The weather wasn’t as cold as when we went there a few weeks ago during snow storm (before all the avalanche). It’s about 41F, quite warm, about 20F warmer.

Here are some of the pictures that I took that day. Enjoy!

Okay. This is totally unrelated things. I bought this game a few days ago and I got to say that this game is really cool. It’s a very unique game. No other game like this one. It has lots of puzzle in it. It’s the kind of puzzle that I used to play with my friends when I was at school. Tricky puzzle, match stick puzzle, etc. It’s a challenging game and it’s very addictive.

Check it out. Try out the online demo. You”re going to love it.

It seems that every year I have weight loss as one of my resolutions for the new year. This year is no exception. I need to lose some of the extra pounds that I gained over the years.

I can’t remember who said, “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. It might turn out to be true. My dear lovely wife made a special dish on new year’s day. The hot n’ spicy calamari in soy bean sauce. Served with hot steam rice, egg roll and vegetables. It’s so yummy. The food is simply irresistible. It’s going to be tough for me to meet my wight loss goal again this year. :-)

Glitches existed during this year fireworks show. However, those glitches didn’t discourage the viewers to enjoy the show. The show did go on and it was beautiful. 2008 just started. Just like any of the years before, problems will be there too. Don’t get discouraged for in all things God works for the good of those who love Him (Rome 8:28 - NIV).

Christmas eve, we went to our church for Christmas celebration. This year, we have 2 performances. The younger kids presented a dance. IFGF Seattle’s creative ministry performed a unique drama about Grace. Both performance were really good.

Here’re some of the pictures that I took. Enjoy!
